thee P5's home town. Close allies of The Penetrators, both strike teams
rendevouzed that Friday night in Atlanta to see the King himself,
Dick Dale, scorch the Peach City's eardrums in a take-no-prisoners,
jaw-dropping performance. Being a full-fledged Dickhead has its
priviledges: so impressed were the bar owners with Thee Phantom 5ive's
and The Penetrators' dedication, they let the vagabond surfcats in free!
The next afternoon, bleary-eyed and hung over, the bands raced to Nashville
for a triumphant double-bill Surfin' Showdown at The Phoenix, attended
by Los Straightjackets' own Danny Amis in rare civilian attire.
